So my wife went to the rustic furniture shop and bought a cabinet to fit towels, and misc bathroom accessories. We were in the middle of the bathroom remodel so it sat in the hall for a few days. we were about 90% done with the remodel so she decided to see how the cabinet would look. It didn’t fit between the toilet and the wall. so she says “what if we get a smaller toilet”. I hadn’t done woodworking for a few months and my shop was a complete dissaster so I said okay. we look and look and look for a cheap toilet that would give us the 1.5” we needed to make it fit. I hadn’t ever looked at toilets, but they are expensive. $150+ for a decent toilet plus the $140 for the cabinet, this was adding up to be an expensive damn cabinet. So she says ” Can you cut this cabinet to make it fit?”. I finally said I can make this thing for $40 bucks and take the other one back. I think she knew if she pushed me long enough i would just do it. So $40 and 4 hours this is what i came up with. It is almost a complete reverse engineer of the one she bought with a couple design changes. I was hopeing to use the $100 savings towards a new bow for next year. the company only takes exchanges no refunds. bummer
