Segmented Candy/Nut Dish

This little bowl is about 7” in diameter and about 3” deep. I really enjoy the bloodwood – Myrtle combination of the checkerboard. The base is Canarywood. I ran out of Myrtle and substituted a little Chinkapin in six of the light colored areas. I think they blend in well but I couln’t let the bloodwood go to waste. Besides the Welsh ancestors I must have some thrifty Scotch in me too.

Fantastic turning. Your segmented stuff makes me want to try my hand at it again.

Wood combo is outstanding. The Myrtle goes great with the bloodwood.

eep it up.
