Made this end table with Cherry, I have not put any finish on it except a coat of Danish oil ,the color is getting darker since it is moved in front of a big window about 3 weeks ago. may put a few coats of poly on it this Summer since my wife like it to look shiny,lol.

Looks nice Ken. Is that apron underneath or you have 2 boards that form the top?

Mahdee,that is 4 pieces of “L” shaped 2.5”x 2.5” apron with a 37° chamfer(Cherry & Ash).they are only glued on the long edges so wood movement could not separate them at the miter joints.
