I made a dining room table for a customer and they were not happy with the results of it, they said it was crap and wanted a discount. I will post a pic of the table and one bench that we sent and you can be the judge. Then they messaged me a week later and told me if I would send them another bench that would then make every thing better. I think they just wanted a free bench, so in the interest of wanting happy customer I made them a bench.

Some people are never happy.
That is absolutely beautiful.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

So, maybe the customer(’s choice of finish) is NOT always right? You are the bigger person, Todd. Beautiful job.

Yeah, I would have refunded their money and then sold the table elsewhere for a larger profit. The set looks great.

Some people just can’t be made happy, your work looks fantastic, love that turquoise inlay. Your customer leaves much to be desired. Maybe we should start a difficult customer thread so everyone can know who to avoid doing work for.

yeah i think they just scammed you into a free bench i mean if i didnt like something making more of it wouldnt make me like it more.i think i would have refunded the money also and then sold to somebody did a great job, call it a lesson learned and find somebody that will appreciate your hard work.

It was such crap that they wanted a matching piece? They sound like horrible people.
Great work in my opinion and may you move on to customers who appreciate your craftsmanship.
