I’ve have been searching for a scroll saw pattern that I know I have somewhere, but I can’t remember exactly where. After I went through all of my hard copy patterns and books, I started going through my digital patterns. While doing that I stumbled upon some pictures of projects from many moons ago. This is a door topper that I did probably about 10 years ago. I scrolled the scene in 1/4” poplar. I made the from 3/4” pine which I colored with a red oak stain. The backer board is just 1/8” hardboard painted maroon. I’m far from a master scroller, but I remember being quite happy with the results 10 years ago when I made it, and even today I still think it turned out pretty good. It measures 37 1/4” long for a general idea of size. Thanks for looking.

Very funny scroll saw project – cartoon motive. Very precise and realistic presentation of theme.

That is very cool Derek.
Love it.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

I got the pattern from the wooden teddy bear. Here’s the link to it.
