I made this box out of chechen wood with bloodwood miter splines cut in at a slight angle. This box has 4 corner matching grains with a stainless steel pin hinge. I love chechen wood because is resembles walnut but its alot harder and has more light and dark colors in the wood. The finish is gloss polyurethane and the box measures 3” by 5” and 3” tall. Thanks for viewing, Andy.

Great looking box and beautiful wood. Mighty fine grain match on those corners, too. Thanks for showing.
