made this for my wife. made from red oak. it is 14 inches wide, 14 inches tall, and 9 inches deep, draw bottems
are lined with felt.

You did a great job on this jewelry box … but it’s too big, now she will want you to fill it up with expensive stuff when you could be buying tools.
I reread your post three times before I realized that a draw is really a drawer … (Kansas thing, I know).
Your choice of red oak (a symbol of strength) is a great choice.
