Now that I can’t do anything outside, it was time to do a project inside I’ve had in mind for sometime. This is my bird seed station I built. Using bins I had for sometime (now can be purchased in stores) I designed it not only to have nice storage for the seeds but EASY to use. I made dollies for the lower bins and as you can see on the front lower piece the name of the seed. (CRS when they are closed!) In each bin I used a 1/2 gallon milk jug to make a scoop for the seed. No more trying to find where I put it! LOL Adding a counter top-again I had…added more bins to store things I want inside.
Then I added shelves on the wall to again place items that should be inside for the winter. And I still have plenty of space if needed. I even finished off the right side added some paint to make it complete . The bottom bins glide so nice and sure helps on the hands. Dealing with bird seed bags, dragging them and trying to open them is in the past for this gal!
I believe I was able to get a #50 bag of seed in the bottom bins. And the wheels where #125 for load weight. Actually I wasn’t sure when they looked too small when I bought them. But they work just awesome.
With using what I already had I only had the wheels to dish out for and my time.
I probably could have made 3 with wheels to stack on each other but I’m petite so that wouldn’t work!
Now…need to work on painting some projects from the yard that I brought in to freshen up for next year. (guys beware..showing this project for your loved one might make you have to do one for her! Or do one as a surprise! You might get a great meal from it! LOL) Enjoy!

That’s a neat, & well organized station.
You must have a lot of bird, & squirrel action at your home.

I guess I’d have to call them squirrel-feed boxes here at home. Those guys don’t let the birds get anything!!!

Well done Krum, looking after the birds is great. Have problems with the two legged ones out here.
Hey is that a squirrel hiding on the top shelf.

That’s a lot of bird seed. Hopefully they appreciate the hand out and go mess on the neighbor’s car instead!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Been busy organizing my shop..yeah again. I don’t have the squirrels bothering my feeders, could be the back yard is too opened for them. Thanks again everyone!
