Looks awesome. I like this octogonal shape. Corner stripes are very beautiful.

Robbi, nice saw. It would help viewers if you added more pictures and were a little closer to the box when you took them. I think it is a great box, but I can’t tell much from the photo. Information would help. What kind of wood? Dimensions of the box? Joinery pictures? Hinge pictures? But I do like the saw. Nice tool.

I like the stripes on the corners. Very creative way to pull a lot of different types of wood together. Good job.

boxguy, thanks for the comments, I am new here but I will figure it all out. The saw is a Delta cab,
saw. the new one they came out with a few years back. I think I have a little over 4000 in it, I love this saw.
I went from a craftsman to a dewalt to this one, by far the best one I have owned.

jiminnm, I just made it from wood I had laying around, I do not have a patteren for it.

Wonderful job! I too made some boxes similar to this. Love your wood combinations.! I agree they are fun to make!
