My wife saw this pencil holder kit in the PSI (Penn State Industries) catalog and thought it would be nice to have since she prefers to use a “real” wood pencil instead of mechanical. Since my dad had given me some extra pieces of wood, I decided to make this kit out of Walnut.
As you can see in the picture, it didn’t turn out too bad. It is finished with CA using the “I can’t believe this finish” from PSI. It was a fun project and the smell of walnut as you are cutting it is nice.
