Project Information
As the kiddo grows, she grew out of her last stepping stool which I made about four years ago when she was 3…
Back then I had no tools other than a circular saw, screwdriver and some spray paint LOL!
For the new one, I went with White Oak and sanded to 220 with a clear water based poly coat. The angles for the legs was 10° so having only Titebond II is plenty sufficient to avoid using any hardware. After the glue up was finished, I decided to test it's strength just in case and had jumped on it with all of my weight. I weigh about 160 and it held just fine, so no worries with my 45lb daughter!
What do you guys think?
