My wife requested that I make a frame for a Moose watercolor she recently painted. I wanted something in the Arts and Crafts – Stickley – Mission style and was unable to find anything like it online, so I came up with this design for the frame. It features through tenons, walnut for the frame and pyramid buttons, and brass pins.

I like the frame and I also like the Moose!

They used to wander down the river behind the house when I lived in W. Fargo, ND.

The really nice moose looks good surrounded by the equally nice frame.

Nice frame with some cool joinery. The moose reminds me of Bullwinkle.
