When my wife and I moved into the house we’re currently in, we realized that there was no pantry to keep dry food in. I didn’t have a shop at the time, so I built this in a weekend up at my godfather’s house. It’s oak plywood with a red oak space frame for the front. The tops are solid oak glued to form a solid piece. It is two pieces, the top and bottom are just stacked so if we have different arrangements in the future they can be used separately in other rooms. Stain is a dark walnut and finished with a wipe on poly.

I forgot to mention there are three movable shelves in the upper unit, and one movable shelf in the lower unit. Holes were precisely measured out and drilled so all you have to do is take the shelf out, move the pegs, and replace in desired location. I’d put pictures of this up, but it’s all filled with food.

Thanks for the complements! I designed this project based off of a few different pictures I found online. I was in a crunch for time so I had to make it simple and effective.
