spiral redwood colum suport, this is at the hutton hotel in nashville tn and i used redwood venier on mdf lite to conceal the main suport colum in the resturant.

i glued up the panel stock on a joose hot press and then milled to width, the corners were miterfolded and then left one side loose and dry biscutuited so i could get it around the colum the each section was stacked at 7 degrees to create the radius. the whole thing is held together with biscuts except the miterfold corners and weighs less than 300 lbs

yea the designer on the furniture made a bad choice, the tables were #2 pine made in tiajuana mexico by a company called barf construction, there motto is we throw em up,lol i couldent belive it after all the millions spent on everything else they put what i call early motel in that resturant
