Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out this dilemma I had for containing the dust in my woodshop and keeping an area of my basement dust free.

So I tried the shower curtain and pole concept but it didn’t work.

So one day I was in the hospital with my youngest son and there was a room that had flood damage and I saw these 2 guys section one off the area and they used a tarp and used duct tape to secure it to a ceiling and then they used a self placing adhesive zipper and it worked awesome I had to tweek the design for my problem .

So I went to HDand purchased roll of 6mm black plastic sheeting and found the 7’ adhesive back zipper .

I had to custom my idea because of all the copper piping and ductwork passing through the door way and used a staple gun to attach the sheet to a wooden crossbeam and used some heavy duty tape .. Applied the zipper and cut the sheeting behind the zipper to create the access point and low and behold a doorway was covered..

Cheap quick and effective

Next I need to set up a dust collection system for all the tools and I think I’m gonna go with the Rockler wall mounted ” Dust Right” system

How often do you use this doorway? I would think the Velcro would wear out eventually?
