this is my version of a spline cutting jig.it’s made from 3/4 melamine and 1/2 Baltic birch,with adjustable arms to keep the work piece where you want it

Looks as good as the one they sell at Rockler, which cost booga bucks. Your’s probably the cost of the two plastic knobs and the t-track. Good job.

Pottz, here is another design to think about. It is a simpler version of your design, but is the same thought. I find that I can align my cuts with a pencil line on tape.
