I built this as a Christmas gift for 2015. Diameter of 20”, Ash and Black Walnut, finished with a few coats of mineral oil.
Quite a few people thought this could double as Captain America’s Shield, I concur

Someone went me a picture of one of these on Facebook. How did you attach the corner holder and is it removable to use on a flat surface?

Jim,
I don’t have a picture of the corner holder but I ended up waiting until my brothers wife decided where she wanted to have the cutting board in relation to the counter edge. Then I placed the 90 deg holder to the bottom by 1/4 machine screws and threaded inserts into the cutting board
