Cordless tool storage

I wanted a place to safely hold my cordless tools. I was constantly knocking my cordless drill/drivers off the top of my workbench so I designed and built this. I know there are countless variations of holders like this, but I wanted something unique, so I added a hidden drawer to hold drill bits, screwdriver bits, etc. It was a fun but challenging build. Sorry I don’t have a video of the build.

Looks like a great idea, well done.

Interesting the way you put it over the top of your bench. Nice work.

I like the drawer design, and the trim to cover the exposed plywood edges. Almost too nice for shop use…

Looks great. That is a slick design on the drawer. I may have to borrow that for my cabinet above my miter saw. Nice work!

Looks great!

Question – does it have a space for the chargers? Just curious. I might build something similar but want to accommodate my chargers somehow. Thanks for sharing..although I’m bummed there’s no video – LOL.

B Woodruff.. Thanks! There is no place for chargers. I already had a charging station, so I didn’t have the need to include one in this build. Sorry, I’m ‘old school’ and don’t have any video equipment.

Have your say...
