That is unique and beautiful!
The color combinations make this box “pop”.

Man, this is hands down the best box I have ever seen. You are a true woodworker.

Really nice, Roger. A splendid design, novel and well made. One of your best.

Roger, that box is beautiful, I really like the colour combination and the resulting top feature.
Thank you for sharing.

Bob.

Excellent, I like the contrast of the wood as well as the unique curve.

Nice Bog Roger, I’m currently working on a cypress box and will be using wenge for the lid, corner splines and the hinges.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments.

Blackie, this is the first time I worked with wenge. I did have some issues with splinters when I cut the wenge, but it sanded and finished nicely.

Yep Wenge is Notorious for leaving your hands with splinters, I us it quite often as it’s the closest I’ve found to Ebony.

Well I’m on my iPad and it won’t let me make a correction us = use.

If only LumberJocks made an app I wouldn’t have this problem.
