So, while working on another project I generated a heapin’ helpin’ of scraps, and I’ve been needing to build a box that would hold my incense and it’s burned remains and keep it from dusting my desk.

3/4” birch plywood for the base, 1/2” birch plywood for the sides, redwood for the trim, paste wax for the finish.

It satisfied my inner kid to have a single-day project, hence I didn’t trim the top portion.

I like it! I might have to build one for myself.

Good honest box. Sometimes we can overdo the finishing things up.
