We just moved into our new house. So this is my first project for my nine year old daughter. I know it’s not with wood… but I’m pretty proud of it.
It is a garden mural. We tell people to come in and please shut the gate. You will notice that the picture with the rose arbor is actually the room’s door. The door next to it is the closet. There are lots of bugs, birds and flowers, including a line of ants climbing the garden fence. As well as, a bunny and a mouse have made this room their home. (And no need to feed and change litter!)
We had lots of fun deciding what to put in the mural. It took about 2 weeks to complete.
Next is my sons’ room… deep sea ocean for them.

Looks great Becky. I bet that Sarrah is proud of it also. I guess that Mom is coming tomorrow.

Very nice. I had to pay close to $1000 to have someone paint a mural in our daughters room.

Thank you for all the nice comments. Everybody is very kind and supportive. I can see why my Dad – Karson – loves to be a Lumberjock so much.

I am SOOOO calling you when we move! It looks AWESOME. You need to post pictures of Albie’s room now :) Did you draw it first, or just go to town with the painting? Savannah says it is “Cool. Nice”. :)

Very Nice.
It’s almost like being outdoors, you can almost smell the flowers.

Great painting! It’s not to late to add some real fence boards, you know.

We’re just about to redecorate our daughters room. I like this idea and will be sure to show it to her. Nice job!
