1. I printed out a large times new roman F, cut it out and traced it onto 3/4” ply, then cut out the F. I used this as the base for the pallet wood which I nailed on top.
2. I cut pieces of various colored woods off a couple pallets. Some of the pieces I painted white and sanded them after.
3. I painted the outside border and put a keyhole slot in the back with a router bit for hanging.

You Nailed it. I am so stealing this idea and thanks for making it so easy ;) I promise I’ll use a different letter of the alphabet. The one letter that NEVER shows up on any shelves “O”
Great JOB

I like the texture, pretty cool.

Deserves an “A” instead of an “F.”

Sesame St. is brought to you today by the letter “F” ;)
Very nice piece, very creatively made with nicely balanced attention to color. The angle of the pallet wood adds a lot to it. I like the lighting in the shot as well. What made you pick “F”.

That’s great bear. Thanks for the kind words on the color.
The “F” is my last initial.
