July, 2009—I may never use Purpleheart again! I found it difficult to work with, both in cutting and in finishing. This one has Aspen handles. I have received lots of compliments on it. I used the Watco Danish Oil on it.

That’s a very nice box! I find purple heart difficult to with, too. Your efforts are worth the hassle. Again, nice work.

I love doing bandsaw boxes,but never did one in purple heart. Looks great.
