We put this together from birch dimensional lumber, cut on the table saw and band saw. No plans – it just felt right. Each end plate is 5.5” wide, and 9” or so tall. Dadoes on the ends and sides hold the bottom nicely.
The flames were required as standard equipment.
I left the handle loose to make it easier to carry for his smaller hands. He is one happy (4 year old) camper!!

Can’t tell which he is most pleased with… the boat or the box… both are well done and his eyes tell the story of his enjoyment.
