OK….I confess… I have the Christmas Ornament Bug…. This is the third one for me. Lots more to come.
This one is maple and butternut. Some have asked for a coin in the picture to show scale; however when I take the picture it is hanging by a bent coat hanger. A coin lying beside it would through the scale idea off. With that said. these are not big at all. This one is 1.5” in dia (main body) and a total of 4” in length. Both body and roof are hollowed to about 1/16” thinkness. In fact, this one is too big in my opinion. The next one I do in this fashion will be smaller.
Thanks for looking…......

Fantastic ornament. I too am getting that bug. (or is it buged?) The wife would like all wood ornaments on the tree. Might be a prety bare tree this year. haha
Fantastic job. Great design. Do you get the bird from a craft store?
Keep up the fantastic work.

Very beautiful indeed! This is the kind of bird I welcome hanging around the top of my truck… The live ones get too messy!
