LSU Stool and Mesquite Wood

Project by tiny posted 41 days ago 324 views 0 times favorited 2 comments Add to Favorites Watch

A quick little project with some extra pieces of what I call “wood cookies” on a LSU bucket I bought from Lowes. The lid is screwed to the bottom of the wood and snapped to the bucket. What I call “wood cookies” is iron wood or hop hornbeam. The Mesquite wood I bought today. Some pieces are very large and I will resaw them on my mill and make small projects with the rest.

That Mesquite slab is shaped a lot like the outline of the state of WV. It only makes sense that WV would be on top of LSU :) I guess we’ll have to wait until next year to find out…
