This was rough pallet wood from work that a big electrical motor came in on. I ran it thru the planner, a dado in the middle for a cleat to mount it, mitered for a 6 inch return to the wall. I installed a cleat thru the mortor joints with tapcon screws, then just attached it with screws from underneath.I finished it with sedona red stain and poly. gary

Nice work, ive made a few things out of old pallets myself in the past, it is amazing what you can do with an old pallet.

-- A hammer dangling from a wall will bang and sound like work when the wind blows the right way.
