A friend of my fiancee’s had wanted to buy a toy chest for her 2 year old son but didn’t want something that he could tair up. I offered to make him one that I knew for sure that would take a beating. She had wanted it to be completed on his birthday and I did try, but I remembered something an older wood craftsman had said to me a few years back that all good things come to those who wait. Well it took me on weakends about 3 months to complete. It has a secrete compartment in the hood of the chest and well I still think I could have dont better but my fiancee’s friend was more than pleased with the completed chest.
