These are the first pens I have made, thanks to the help from RetiredCoasty. The first one I made for my wife it is a slimline made from purple heart. The other one is a cigar pen made of Laural burl. Now my wife wants another pen, so it looks like more turning this weekend. I really enjoyed making them these are fun projects that don’t take a lot of time.
Thanks again to RetiredCoasty for all your help.

Good looking pens. If your wife loves the first one and wants another…......you know you’ve done good!

I enjoyed helping. You’re a good student. By the way don’t tell your wife I helped get you hooked on pen turning, Ive got enough wives blaming me for leading their husbands astray.
Great looking pens!

Congratulations on two wonderful pens. You are fast becoming a new addict. Pen turning becomes more than a hobby for you, and a great source of gifts for your friends. It’s amazing how many people will be checking with you to fill their holiday gift lists…
Great work.
