I’m building a hall table similar to the one you built, but mine will have 2 inset drawers and tapered legs. You did a really nice job on the table. Mine’s red oak also. Seems like a lot of sofa and hall tables are showing up on here all of a sudden. Must be a shortage of somekind!! Did you taper the legs—can’t tell?
which went from 2” down to 1 1/4” . Turned out great. Thanks again, Jim.
Hey a1Jim: I built the taper jig from one of the plans you posted to me last week. Sweet! I tapered all 4 sides

Beautiful looking table. I’m finishing up on one made at our Mason Dixon Woodworking class last weekend.

Really nice job on that table AJJ.
The detail makes it stand out.
I bet the end tables will look sharp too.

AJ, Great build. How did you end up in a woodworking school in Pa and I see you’re from OR? Welcome to LJ’s and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Rich, yes the legs are tapered on the inside faces, vertical on the exterior faces.
Huff, I was living in Northern Virginia and I am from Philly. So I stayed with my brother and commuted to Jeff’s school. He is an exceptional wood worker and also a very patient teacher.
