Coffee table made from beech counter top remnants

A sink cutout for a large sink with drain board was perfect to make as a gift for a great client & friend that has referred me to many great jobs. It is Beech from IKEA with african mahogany edges. The lower shelf was a challenge as the point of connection is small & round. I routed a spline underneath then placed a hardwood spline in the groove. Also I like to sand & finish these tripod ladders with a new top of doug fir, again Sikkens deck coating super tough, looks great. Well the ladder picture is too big to download so the african mahogany keepsake box I made for my Mom for her 80th birthday!
