This is a project that took me about four and a half months to make. Maple burl wine table has two wine holders carved into it. Has 11 black walnut butterfly keys. Inlaid with turquoise. Mortise and tenon with tusk joinery. 48” × 39” × 3” it’s a beefcake. Hope you like it. have a great day.

Kody that’s a beautiful table. You did justice to that piece of burl. Quite stout and unique ;) Nice work.

THIS is above “top shelf.” Each piece is exquisitely done. Also the 3-winged butterfly is eye-catching and unique in that I have never seen one before. Kudos to you….it’s just an absolutely amazing piece.

This is a one of a kind masterpiece. I have seen burl tops but never an entire piece from burl. It was worth the time it took. I’m not normally a turquoise fan, but it works really well with this wood.

Kody, I don’t like it, I LOVE IT. That is magnificent and a true work of art.
The carving has made this something very special.
Thank you so much for sharing your work.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
