this is a table I made for my neighbor to put behind his sofa, its 8ft long made of walnut for the top with maple plugs, the base is cherry wood all mortise and tenon construction finished with a poly oil.the sad thing is no one will ever see the legs but I wanted it to look good so if someday it might see the light of day.the important thing he loved it.

ok rob you’ve got your orders lets get going man!-lol.this project for my neighbor was pretty easy, the only thing youll see is the top but I wanted a base that was nice just in case they used it for something else, but its just standard mortise and tenon construction so don’t be afraid just do it.i see you don’t post a lot but I know youd like too, right!just get out their in shop and go for it man,the worst case is a lot of fire wood.there is so much info and help on this site that wathever you need is their, just ask and a lj will come.get active you wont regret me if you wont.thanks for the comment.
