These are Walnut stained to match customers sample. (killed me making them so dark).
The material is mdf core with hardwood on the edges. The legs are built form kerfcore then covered with veneer.
Pre-Cat Lacquer finish.

My tastes are normally pretty traditional, but these are fantastic!

Is that your design? Love it! Absolutely beautiful. You did a fabulous job on this project. I think the dark stain lends to the contemporary style.

Great looking projects!
In my mind that’s just contemporary enough to look interesting, but not so much as to be over the top

bentlyj,
Great job on the buffet and table. Looks beautiful. Was this your original design? Very modern and clean looking overall. Keep on keeping on.

GREAT JOB ON THE PIECES. You think it killed you to stain a cabinet darker. Take a look at the birch entertainment unit I did for my stepdaughter. I am not going to tell you what she wanted! Thanks for posting.

God Bless

Bently, these are wonderful looking pieces. They have a nice design and would be a proud addition to any home or office. Nice job on the finish as well.

Thank you everybody for the kind words, I really appreciate it.

John and Ken, I can’t take full credit for the design, the client showed me a picture of some curved legs and we incorporated the concept into the rest of the design.

Tom, your unit looks great, I bet the color really “pops” (I hate that word) when the light hits it.
My pictures were taken with the roll up doors open bringing in as mush light as I could. They really look dark with the door down. Luckily the clients dining room has a wall of windows that will help show the color.

Bro, I cut the curves out of plywood and made frames and then covered both sides with the kerfcore.
I put 2 pcs of ply at the bottom and used 3” lag screws to secure them to the base.

Woodspyder, They are heavy!! The trim around the table is 8/4 and there are 2 smaller runners running the length of the table for more stiffening support. I also doubled up the edges of the table top with a 4” trim pc so that I would have an 1 1/2” to attach the side pcs to.

Thanks again,
Bently

Dennis, Thanks!!
Great catch on the Art Deco Style….

Brad, I appreciate it.
The “Dull Rubbed” Pre-Cat Lacquer lays down really nice and makes for a real smooth finish.
