A friend of mine gave me a load of 8/4 White Oak that had been felled from a friend of a friends family estate. It is beautiful and covered in wood worm holes. I made this as a thank you modeled after the Cedar Desk organizer he had admired. The box is dovetailed with rabbets for the inset pieces. It is primarily White oak with a zebrawood inlay in the front. it was my first attempt at inlay and a good learning experience. Finished with danish oil and briwax tinted wax.
