In a corner of our sofas it always looked quite “modest” from: Once laptop, tablet or one of the mobile phones was to load, it was there in the charging cable. Lying on the floor beside the bed to getting a triple socket. In summary: lost place on the sofa, because there (and on the floor beside the sofa) lying around a tangle of cables.
Therefore, I had the idea to create a storage space for these devices, but which also has outlets simultaneously. When I then met with sockets for wall mounting, which have built-in USB charging points, the plan was born.
Result: 60×20 cm Wall shelf, under a “box” for wiring is mounted and (to complete the three sockets off) in the three sockets with USB court, a switch, and at the bottom, a single outlet with continuous voltage, which the floor lamp next to the bed permanently powered.

Very cool. I was actually planning on doing something like this integrated into a headboard. I like that there is a mix of continuous and switched sockets. What does the wiring look like in the back?
