I was commissioned to make this 2 weeks ago. The customer only specified lightish colored wood and final dimension. For the rest they said surprise us. Lol.

Everything was going great until a neighborhood dog bumped a can of dark walnut stain over and I had to redo the top. What a turd.

Made from curly cherry and maple with shaker style panels. Final dimensions : 30”x15”x15 OD

That’s beautiful! Love the splines. Nice, subtle touch. Maybe make another base and stain that dark to match the “ruined” top?

We both did. I had ear plugs in and didn’t hear her come up to me, so I squeaked femininely when it startled me.

I’m planning on trying to get my next client to have that used on her side tables.

It’s not ruined completely. I was able to bleach out most of the dark stain in the cherry with chlorine.
