Just a small project. I haven’t posted since forever. It was a one walnut board project. Makes the razors, brush and soap and bowl look a bit more presentable than having the stuff all around the vanity. It felt good to get back on the bench. .the design as always was dictated by the knot holes in the board. It was all hand tools.

From one wet shaver to another…nicely done! I know the feeling to get back in the shop after a long spell without!

Not sure what the difference between a wet shave and a regular shave with a razor, but your caddy looks great! I like the walnut, and how you worked around the knot holes. I’m sure it looks great on your vanity, and you enjoy using it every day!

@Mean_Dean, wetshaving has traditionally meant the use of a razor with a soap requiring water and a brush. Recently its come to mean shaving with either a single edge or double edge razor plus the shave soap, water, and brush combo.

Thanks, Infernal!

I just use a Mach 3 and shave gel—seems to work fine so far. But I’ve been thinking about making a shave caddy to add a little elegance to the vanity, and your caddy has given me some ideas.
