Table saw, etc. gauge

I put this together a while back from a plan in a Woodsmith book.

The magnets make it easy to remove the 6” rule for some measurements the design does not allow.

I used a table saw to ‘finesse’ the dado and rabbets. The adjustment slot was routed.

I would have liked to use a smaller knob, but it wasn’t handy for the size bolt I used.

Good job – Does it hold its footing well without tipping over?

-- What do you mean it's square? How did that happen?

JoshO,

Yup. It stands up well when I’m measuring a saw blade height, for instance. A smaller knob would be better, though, for stability.

Thanks for sharing ..
this is one project I made several years ago and it is always in my hand bag going to the shop
No measuring necessary just use this gague to measure and set your cut to this same measurement
