This is the largest Cottonwood Bark House I have ever made. It is about 14-16 inches tall, 6-7 inches wide, and 4-5 inches thick.

sweet! what do you do with it? is it an indoor or outdoor piece? if outdoor, how do you finish it?

It is for indoors. I put a neutral shoe polish paste on it and buff the crap out of it lol.

Makes me want to send my garden elves over to your place… they’re mischievous. Maybe if they had a house of their own they’d stop stealing my strawberries and taking nips out of my tomatoes.

Bug, that is really cool!! A lot of detail in that. I would have never thought of shoe polish as a finish, but that really looks great.
