Well since I’ve got my new Laser Cutter/Engraver I’ve been experimenting with all types of things.
I made this out of some old scrap acrylic I had lying around. The edges are a little burnt on this one but I thought I would at least show this to everyone.
I’ve had this idea kicking around in my mind for some time.
I have no need for these of course because I can cut as many new single pieces as I want, but for others who do not own lasers I think this would be an excellent new type of insert for any size table. Just make one of these and from then on make your own “SQUARE” inserts for it and never buy another “FULL” insert again.
Simple… yet very useful .. I think anyhow.

Nice tip, tanks
I also made my own but in plywood 4 mm
Just draw and cut the circle, cut the line to the blade, drill some random small holes to help the sawdust goes down ( my dust collector catch it inside the BS ) and use it until goes in bad shape
They are so easy to made and don’t need to be perfect
As needed, replace it and keep working
I really don’t understand why someone can buy this expensive thing
