Great looking box, and a nicely produced video!

I built a box very similar to yours recently, and want to compare notes a little:

How thick is your walnut lid panel? And how did you insert it into the lid frame? Lastly, what thickness of mahogany did you use for the box carcase?

Dean, thanks for the comment! I used 3/4 walnut and 1/2 mahogany. I floated the top and bottom in the side panels using a 1/4 dado. I then chopped the edges of the panels down to 1/4 inch to fit in the slot. I’m continuing to look for that dern first video. Its driving me crazy. I can only think that I accidentally deleted the footage.
