This project started with an old cabinet door that was found in my mother-in-law’s attic. We also found some old venetian blind slats. Using that material as a starting point, I built this cabinet for my wife’s sewing room. The old door looks pretty good with a fresh coat of paint and new hinges, and the slats offered some decoration wrapped around the top, sides, and bottom.
