Kristoff’s Treasure Box A couple of years ago, I made a treasure box for grandson, Kaler. His little brother, Kristoff just turned 3, and when a guy gets to be that old, he needs a place to store his “good stuff”. This one is aromatic cedar with walnut “bands”, brass hardware, a leather handle….and a K2 brand on the top. The box is 6×9 and 4.75 inches high. The corners are a rabbet joint, and the bottom is plywood in a dado. The removeable sliding tray is made from 1/4 inch oak. The box is 1/2 inch stock and is finished with satin poly.

John that’s a great looking box you made for the little MAN I bet he will be more then happy with it and have it filled before you know it.
I would like to see a picture after he has had it for a week or two .
Looks nice and solid and durable so it should last a life time .

Beautiful wood colour. I like the combination of wood and leather in one project.
