My wife saw something like this on Pinterest before we got married and asked me to make one. So I started by drawing the leaf shape and cutting a bunch of them out of 6mm birch plywood on the laser printer, and doing the same for the trunk. I then spray painted the leaves and trunk with our wedding colors, and made a little plaque with our wedding date.

When people came in to the church for our wedding, they signed one of the leaves instead of a guestbook, and put them in a basket. Later (about 8 months later, when I finally got around to it) I arranged all the leaves, glued them on, and made a small frame out of some knotty cedar. It hangs on the wall in our living room now, and people like to find their names when they come over.

Thanks for looking!

Cool idea. Keep them wood chips flying. But dont track them in the house like me.
