Yes. Its from the local lumber yard. Some leftover 2×12 and 2×10.

Great look. My wife is into Arts and Crafts, and since I am a newby, at least to woodworking as a hobby, my first project will be bookends. But they have to be quarter sawn white oak, so it will be hard to work, hard to finish, expensive….........
Your tastes are much more practical….....maybe I could have my wife talk to yours…........
Anyway, a fine looking group of furniture, really fit the bed…........
