The bottom section (Bloodwood and Myrtle) one of my favorite combinations, started out as a candy dish but I added the upper layer of Chinkapin and Bloodwood strips to enlarge it to a salad bowl. The base is Monterillo. The bowl is about 10” in diameter and stands about 5” tall.

Fantastic bowl! Love the design and the color combos. The difference between the top and bottom sections is striking.

this bowl is beautiful. the way that the grain lays within each of the pieces gives it a really nice movement through the piece. nice work on this!
