I copied this cupboard from Woodworking Magazine Autumn 2008. They built it out of walnut I used pine. They used Rat-Tail hinges and I would of too but rat-tail hinges are very evpensive so i just used butt hinges with finals. this was also my first try at a panel door like this and the door was not hard but I tried creating the panel tapers with the table saw method as they used in the article but I could not get all sides to be even so I ended up using my router table to create the panel. this was also my first shot at spraying on a finish I was not happy with the results of the spray job as it left an orange peel effect. the glass i used is a old finish glass. it is currently being used as a Liquor cabinet in the living room.

:-) This beautiful cabinet is definitely on my “to build” list. I have the issue of Woodworking Magazine this first appeared in and have created a true to life SketchUp drawing for anyone interested(including joinery details)
Great execution of a well designed piece!
