I built this cabinet today in my Wood Manufacturing/Cabinetmaking course at Holland College. It is simple, easy and quick to make and it has found a new home over my coats to hide away hats and gloves. This is just a temporary home until I get it back to my own province and down in the shop, I think then it will re-locate to the finishing room.

Looks like a good solid place to hide the toques and mittens.
