Made lots a mistakes on this one but I won’t tell if ya’ll don’t. Sendin it to my daughter in Jacksonville. Made of a block of cherry with black cherry lid & splines. Flocked with wine nylon flocking. Sooner or later I’ll get it right as long as I don’t run out of blocks. Maby I can get that famous dude to chop down another cherry tree. LOL

Great box, Dudley. Photography just happens to be my other hobby also. If you shoot as well as you make sawdust, you must have some awesome photographs.

The only mistake I see is that you told people that you made mistakes. Nice box.

I’ll take your word on the mistakes, Dudley, but I don’t see ‘em!! Really good looking little box. :)

Great box Dudley.
That flocking & those splines really make it look sharp.

Someone asked me about the flocking and I deleted the email thinking the question would be here also. Anyway, whom ever it was here is the link that will tell you all about it. It’s really easy. Each color comes with a can of matching color glue.

Kickback: Because you start out with solid or laminated block of wood and other than the sanding, the band saw is the only saw you use for the most part.
